This sensor is normaly used to measure exhaust temperature.

Monitoring exhaust temperatures gives a good indication of fuel mixtures. A rich mixture is cooler than a lean mixture. Many people also use these in the engine protection system of EMS Motorsport and EM-Tech ECUs.
