Single Thermocouple Probe Sensor Amplifier.

The voltage given by a thermocouple probe is very small and must be increased before the ECU or data logger can read it. This is accomplished by the thermocouple amplifier.

This sensor is normaly used to measure exhaust temperature but can also be used for many other things such as oil temperature. Monitoring exhaust temperatures gives a good indication of fuel mixtures. A rich mixture is cooler than a lean mixture. Many people also use these in the engine protection system of EMS Motorsport and EM-Tech ECUs.
